Our History
The Hokkaido Jinkai was established in November of 1972 by its founding president Reverend Taiken Akiyama. In 2013 our organization applied for a new Non profit organization status and we are now the Hokkaido Club Hawaii NPO.
Mission
To promote international relations with the prefecture of Hokkaido, and Hawaii.

Presidents Message
Kyoji Koitabashi
I have been involved in various activities and famous Genghis Khan events within the Hawaii Japanese community. However, the most rewarding experience was being able to assist, along with other members, in the Sister State partnership between my hometown of Hokkaido and Hawaii in May 2017. Moving forward, I aspire to continue fostering friendships among those with connections to Hokkaido residing in Hawaii, and to serve as a bridge between both regions as a token of gratitude to America and Hawaii.
