Mission
Our Hawaii Saga Kenjinkai is small and we are currently not able to do anything due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But I would like to connect with those who have a connection to Saga prefecture, and I want to make it a fun and active Kenjinkai after Covid-19 pandemic finished.

In celebration of the birthday of his majesty the Emperor of Japan
We celebrated the Emperor’s birthday and put out a booth to introduce Saga’s culture and specialties.

Presidents Message
Kumika Soga
Aloha! My name is Kumika Soga. I was born and raised in Saga prefecture until I was 18 years old. After 8years in Kyoto for study and work, I came to Hawaii 36 years ago because of my husband’s mission and I joined Hawaii Saga Kenjinkai in 2016 and became vice president. Since our former president returned to Japan, I took over the president position. I am not good, but I will do my best until I have a new decent president. If you are from Saga prefecture or you like Saga, please join us.
